Found a spot quickly, which was a nice little miracle before the ride. No circling forever, no stress, no dramatic parking-lot showdown—almost suspiciously easy.

I mostly rode the monorail because I wanted to see the Strip from above, that part was my favorite. I found myself paying more attention to the hotel views and lights than anything else, especially later in the day when everything started to look more colorful. Getting tickets through Las Vegas Monorail was easy too, which I appreciated.

The only thing that stood out as a downside was that a couple of the station walks felt longer than I expected, though I wasn’t really focused on that once I was onboard. Overall it was clean, quick, and a nice little break from walking around in the heat.

I guess it works well if you’re only taking daytime trips. I do wish it ran later though, because that would make it a lot more useful. Still, for what it is, it’s okay.
